When I saw your painting, it took me back to my youth and being raised in the country.

Some of my best days were being in nature, amongst the wildflowers and trees.

 The Japanese blossoms in your painting created a sense of calm, peace and cheer.

I got my Majestic Mini in 2016. I love the cropped gaze and the texture of the

trees that these little beauties show. When we moved to the drier, hotter climes,

it was a perfect reminder of the snowy forests that we hiked in Quebec.

A ses débuts l’expérimentation a mené Robert vers la sculpture d’arbres, de

montagnes, de glaciers, de roches et de paysages. Son travail du médium,

minutieux et très détaillé, s’est transformé au cours des années dans l’art

d’utiliser les couleurs les unes dans les autres pour en faire des toiles plus lisses,

des fondus à l’huile magnifiquement exécutés à la spatule. Finalement la

présence de l’artiste dans ses toiles nous guide vers des représentations

personnelles de l’infini, de l’indicible et de la magnificence.

Every time I look at this painting, I see something new, and I am taken to a

place of solitude and wonderment.
